Apollonia Kotero

Patricia Apollonia Kotero (born Patricia Apollonia Kotero) is a famous American actress, singer, and former model. She's best known for her role in Prince's 1984 film Purple Rain as well as singing lead in Apollonia 6, a girl group. Kotero went on to be featured in a few minor roles during the period (reportedly declining to appear on the Purple Rain follow-up Under the Cherry Moon) prior to landing a role on the night-time drama Falcon Crest during 1985-1986. Apollonia could finally release her debut album in 1988. However, the album failed to leave a lasting impression with music fans and was soon obliterated from the music scene. Apollonia was active, even if she wasn't in the spotlight as an actress during the decade, albeit with minor film and television roles. A workout DVD was made available. Apollonia created a bilingual Spanish and English album titled Stay With Me. After that, she attended the college where she earned a filmmaking degree.
