Sharon Yvonne Stone (born March 10, 1959) was born in Meadville Pennsylvania to Dorothy Lawson an accountant and Joseph William Stone Jr. A tool and die manufacturer who had previously worked as a worker for a manufacturing company. She has three siblings: Michael, Kelly, and Patrick. Stone was considered academically gifted as a child and began the second grade when she was five. In 1975 she was a graduate of Saegertown high school located in Saegertown (Pennsylvania). She was also a contestant for Saegertown's Miss Pennsylvania beauty pageant, which she won Miss Crawford County. Stone was moved from Pennsylvania to New Jersey in 1977 with her aunt in order to explore a career as models. In just a few months, she was signed with Ford Modeling Agency. In Europe Stone lived for a year living in Milano as well as Paris. Stone was, however, frustrated with modeling and acting in Europe. She decided to keep her acting career going as an actress during the time living in Europe. Stone appeared in Woody Allen's film "Stardust Memories" when he was 20. The movie received mixed reviews.
